OTP6122 can set and transmit data at two e side s of optical source and power meter through test fiber, so it can generate results of loss test directly at one side.
Bi-directional Insertion Loss Test
Optical power loss test can validate whether fiber and linker are installed correctly. The test method is generating signal with a fixed power source and test signal intension at the other side of fiber with a power meter.
